Touch of Spring


Enjoy a Touch of Spring.  The Pennsylvania Punxsutawney Groundhog did not see his shadow last week so maybe most of the country will have early spring.

Well, I can't wait so I just had to put together this beautiful basket of pansies.  Enjoy!!!

BTW  I live in Erie, PA where we average 101 inches snow during winter, but I refuse to let the weather prevent me from enjoying life.

Never fear, no matter what the calendar says it can be spring in your own mind.

We really like and enjoy pansies in the fall,winter and spring in our area.  In May Debbie will be yanking them up and replacing them with her colorful summer flowers.  That time of year will be here before we know it!  Enjoy the color my friend.

Good morning, Debbie. Yes, spring is coming and while I wait I will continue to work with iPad. Lottie, wow, it won't be long and you will have spring in your area. I look forward to seeing those crocuses on your blog soon. Rich, I agree the lack of color is hard to deal with month after month. That is why I just had to put this basket of pansies together. Hi Joni, you and I are a lot alike in that respect. I love your enthusiasm for life. Malcolm, I hope spring arrives in your area quickly so you can get outside more often. Thanks, Rebecca. If I try to learn something new each day I might master the iPad. John, yes, your area can enjoy the pansies all winter but here they can't survive the cold temperatures. That is why my pansies are in basket. I can put them on porch on nice days, but take them inside at night. Kristin, we were so happy that Phil slept through his big day on Feb. 2nd.

Toni, I am envious. Enjoy & post a photo. We had a few Snowdrops before last storm. I found these flowers at store and decided to make a basket for my porch.
