Roy Kelley – Award winning RE/MAX agent in Montgomery County, Maryland

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty, LLC

There are at least 8 reasons why I recommend Roy Kelley, of the RE/MAX Realty Group, if you want to buy or sell in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC.

Ducks photograph by Roy Kelley I will say this first:  as a Certified Public Accountant / Real Estate broker, I am very cautious and conservative when it comes to recommending real estate agents to other people.   I won’t refer someone unless I am convinced that they will take care of the person that I am referring to with utmost professionalism and care.  As result of my high expectations, I am very selective about the people that I choose to refer clients so.

Roy Kelley   I recommend Roy Kelley for the following reasons (not in any particular order since I believe they are all extremely important)

1.        Roy Kelley is has been an attorney for over 50 years.    With his legal background, he is able to understand and explain the lengthy real estate contracts and laws.

2.       Roy Kelley received his Bachelors of Science degree in finance.  A real estate broker that can understand and explain the financial concepts of a real estate transaction is an invaluable resource.

3.       Attention to detail:  In a real estate transaction, it is critical that the real estate broker pay attention to the little details – of how the house shows, what the offers says, what the inspector is saying, what the lender is saying, what the other Realtor is saying…….  Roy Kelley’s photography and writing style on his blog clearly demonstrates his continued attention to detail.   I don’t recall ever seeing a typo or mistake in one of his blogs.    His photographs are always amazing.   His attention to details contributes to the extra ordinary photographs that he produces on a daily basis.

4.       Energy – Roy Kelley is a tad bit older than I am.   I may complain of being too tired to post  or a myriad number of other excuses.   I’m not sure if Roy Kelley has ever missed a day of posting at least one well written blog since 2008.   Just imagine the energy towards helping a buyer or seller that Roy Kelley is capable of providing.

5.       Roy Kelley keeps up with the latest technologies.   At least once I day, I see something from Roy Kelley in my Twitter feed.  He’s very active on the Active Rain.   He knows how to email.   He knows how to use a telephone.    Roy Kelley knows how to stay in contact and how to communicate.

6.       Roy Kelley cares about his community and has stayed involved throughout the years.    For example, he has served on the Virginia Beach Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce and on the board of the Tidewater Community College.

7.       Roy Kelley knows Montgomery County, Maryland  and the area Washington D.C. surrounding areas of Maryland.   If you have any doubts, read his blog.

8.       Roy Kelley has been in the real estate business since 1960.    He KNOWS real estate and there isn’t much that is going to surprise him.    When the going gets tough, Roy Kelley knows what to do.

The following is a sample of his blog posts that demonstrates his expertise:

Kentlands named best Gaithersburg Neighborhood

DC Metro Home Prices up from October 2011

Kentlands Community Home Inspections

FHA Mortgage Insurance and Down Payment Changes.

I recommend Roy Kelley, of the RE/MAX Realty Group, if you want to buy or sell in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC.

Sondra you did such an excellent endorsement of Roy both as a real estate professional and also as a fine gentleman. I agree he will like your words. I was very impressed with your paying attention with your own level of details and analytical ability here. I had noted Roy's energy level and embracing tech skills also and am shooting to be that way myself out into the future.

With his law and finance background, he's the most well rounded real estate professional I know. Great endorsement, Sondra, and Roy does have a great amount of energy. He stays active, and I think that's part of it.
