Question: Who's Subscribed to Your Blog?

Another question for you.

confusedHow do you find out who's subscribed to your blog?  I have people subscribed but I have no idea how to find out who they are so I can say thanks!

Also, how do you get people to sign up to your blog?  Is this something I should be concerned about or another of those things, like associations, that will happen when it happens?

Thanks again for your help with this one!

Renae,  Go to your Home Page, Scroll down the left sidebar -- Click on Statistics -- then click on Subscribers.   I notice some members have a subscribe button to encourage other members to subscribe to them.  I'm sure one of them will share the "how to" directions with you.

Renae - better not to go looking for subscribers - let them come to you. Write good content blogs and people will want to subscribe to you. Same theory as buyers - entice them to want to work with you.

I am not sure how important it is from a business point of view to have lots of subscribers but there is a list of the top 100, so someone thinks it is.

Howdy Renae

I see that Judi has stoped in and answered your question for you. Judi is very helpful.

If you take your time and write good info in your posts, and reciprocate to folks that comment on your blog posts. They will come!

Have a good one

Judi answered your question Renae, but is interesting seeing who likes to see what you are writing about.

Dale and Sharon have good points Ranae. Write good posts and people will read them and come to you. I have been active for a few months now and have several people who subscribe and comment on my posts. It takes time to cultivate a relationship here in the rain.  8-}

Judi - Thanks for letting me know.  I had never clicked on the statistics link before for some reason!

Sharon - I understand.  I just wasn't sure if there was some science to getting people to subscribe to your blog or if I should even worry about it at all.  Thanks for stopping by!

Kathleen - I saw that Top 100 blogs link. I'm new to AR so I'm sure it will take me a long, long time to ever get that distinction!  Thanks for reading!

Dale - That's exactly what I've started doing - reciprocating comments.  Thanks for the advice!

Gary - You're right!  I love going to the profile pages and websites of those people who are reading my blog!

Michael - That's my new goal - to ensure that I write informative posts.  I just started here a month ago and am still learning the AR ropes!  Thanks for visiting!

There is usually a button at the bottom of your blog that says subscribe to blog.  People will subscribe over time and the associations will pour in over time as well. No need to worry about people finding you, because on AR if you post it, they will come.
