It is almost time to conclude the "Second Annual ActiveRain
'Be The Star of Your Own Movie' Contest Awards Ceremony"...
But wait.....there's a "twist".
You knew there would be.

Before we get to the Best Movie award which is the last award of the evening, there is one special award that is so well deserved. I'd like to bring out Kerrie Greenhalgh to present the Lifetime Achievement Award.
I'm a little excited, this is the first time I'm meeting Kerrie in person. Woo Hoo! Such an honor and privilege.
Can't help myself.........doing the "Happy Dance!"
Isn't she stunning!

You've got the floor Kerrie!

This lady is one of the original members of ActiveRain. She is the "go to" lady for everything AR. She has been deemed the Copyright Queen by some and is always open to a phone call or e-mail to help members in any way she can. She holds the #2 spot on the ActiveRain Leaderboard, is an Ambassador, and can be found on ActiveRain many times throughout the day and night. She truly loves her community and she isn't afraid to let any one of us know what she thinks. This place is all that much better because of your lovely presence.
Please accept this award with our love....... May I present to you Lenn Harley.

I'm sure Lenn will be back to give us her acceptance speech.
Right now she is backstage with the photographers and interviewers.
We are proud to honor her this evening with the Lifetime Achievement Award for all she has done for the ActiveRain Community.

The moment you've all been waiting for, the Best Movie Oscar. Please welcome Amy Hahn to the stage.

It is such an honor to be back on stage for the Oscars and being surrounded by such amazing people. Winning Best Movie last year was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been so busy making new movies that even the paparazzi can't catch me, but I could not miss being here tonight to congratulate the winners. You, all of you, have worked very hard, proven your talents and you all deserve to be on this stage.
The nominees for Best Movie are:
Fargo - Starring Shar Sitter
The Wizard of Oz - Starring Dorie Dillard
Driving Miss Daisy - Starring Joni Staples

And the winner is...

Congratulations to Dorie!

She was nominated in a category with some amazingly talented people and the competition was tough.
Amy and I are both proud to present Dorie with The Oscar this year for Best Movie.
Please stay with us for the acceptance speeches from Lenn Harley and Dorie Dillard.
This has been such an exciting evening. Thanks to all of you for attending and for the support you have shown for your fellow ActiveRain Peers. The judges, Sharon Tara, Kathy Streib, Craig Rutman and myself appreciate all of you.
In the inimitable words of Carol Burnett:
"I'm so glad we had this time together".
