While I agree with the group.... (font, size, colour) would be nice.... I am able to use ScribeFire to do those... I'll jump off the bandwagon, and suggest that I'd love a "text wrap"... that would allow wrapping around a non rectangular item... perhaps with buttons that could be manipulated...
Word count is easy... I export to Word and count there... but no idea why I would care what the word count is.
An "embed" button might be nice.
Now Alan makes a good suggestion....#76 may have something there

I know that is 4, but those are what I want to see. How about an automatic spell checker that checks as you type.
HEADING TAGS! For H1, H2, and H3 please so we don't have to go into code mode....

Without a way to increase font size all the other features are useless, as we have to do all of our editing in Word.
It would be great if we could have some additions - Font, Size, Color, Header - H Tags. It's four I know, but PLEAAAASE!
Font size and font color are two valuable tools that are currently absent and so necessary. I would also like the ability to move an inserted photo after it is placed in the post, without having to go back to the picture insert feature. One more wish: the ability to control the line spacing, beyond hitting enter.

ditto to the font/size/color thing - H tags you can already do with Ctrl+1 for H1, Ctrl+2 H2, etc but how is anybody supposed to know that :) so buttons I guess would be nice for that too
this belongs on another wishlist, but it would be great to have notifications for mentions in a comment like we can do in facebook when you @ somebody or in google plus when you +mention somebody. In AR sometimes you reply to a person but you wonder if they EVER remember to come back to see what you wrote. With notifications, it would be very helpful to know that they got an email of the mention. food for thought...
Craig: In a way, we already get the notifications you speak of. Once I hit submit on THIS comment I am typing, a notice is sent to you that you have a comment. Then... if you reply back on my comment to you (this one)... I am sent notification that there is another comment on YOUR post... which I can then go to and open up and read... and, if I want to, I can comment/reply back to that.
This could go on forever. All that needs to happen is that each of us must have checked the box on the post in question... to be notified of further comments.
The only side-step from your wish... is that the notice back that there has been a comment... or actually, another comment... is that it is not personal to the person whose response/reply you are interested in.

Ok, it seems that we all agree that a 'font manipulator' :) would be great. But ALSO, how about the ability (like Hootsuite) to TIME our posts? For instance, we write them in the afternoon and schedule them for A.M. posting? Something I have OFTEN wanted, but not an IT person, so don't know the difficulty of that ability.
Most of what I want has already been discussed above. But, what about being able to add those videos directly like we are able to do with the Scribefire add on with Chrome?
Adding a word count would be great too.
Number 1 request would be for COLOR choices!! I was using ScribeFire (can't use it with Internet Explorer) and something happened...wish I knew what!...and I haven't been able to get ScribeFire to work again (with Mozilla).

3. Mimi Foster's idea of a "schedule blog posting time" would be fantastic for me! With my religeous observance, I don't work on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. Some of these holidays are back-to-back with a Saturday and are 2 days long. This would allow me to prepare posts in advance and schedule when they are published so I don't disappear for my readers for 3 days. It would also be helpful for people who are going away on vacation or celebrating family events that keep them busy for a few days!
I like what Alan May suggested, too, about text-wrapping around non-rectangular objects!
