Ft. Smith Real EstateIt' was a typical day at the office.  The weather man said it would snow, but you know we didn't believe him.  Then the fun began.

The little light snow flakes began to fall.  The snow flakes got bigger and bigger.  Suddenly, the ground was cover with beautiful snow, and the typical work day was out the door.  So was I to take this picture!

So what you got snow Ray!  Yeah, but we don't get a lot of snow here.  So little that when the weather man speaks of it, Wal-Mart sales go through the roof!!

I did take the sweet opportunity to throw a few snow balls!  I am a big kid at heart!

Hi Ray,

Forgot to mention this. I talked with a REALTOR a few years back who said she lived in an area where snow was extremely rare, happening only about once in 7 years or so. She said that a local neighborhood farmer went out (immediately after a snowfall) and took photos of every house in her farm. She then used the photos on a calendar that was later mailed out. So everyone had a photo of their home in the snow. She said that one promotion was the talk of the neighborhood for years to come. She also said she wished she would have thought of it herself.

Now if I ever lived in an area where snow was that rare I'd try to do the same thing myself. Our last snowfall here was 60 years ago!

Ray - Nice shots.  I remember when my sister visited and there was a snow fall, she couldn't wait to go outside to touch it and play in it since she had never seen it before.  Snow does bring out the child in us.

I love Chili, and I too enjoy making it.  Glad to see I have many common things.  I hope you have a great 2008. Lu
