A Feng Shui inspired workplace that is neat, clean, and organized will lead to better eficiency and a clear mind.
2. Lighten and Brighten
If you are feeling isolated or depressed at work, the problem may be stemming from a lack of light. As you sit in a gloomy environment, you will attract thoughts and expressions of negativity. Open the curtains or shades if there are any, add task lighting, and use lighter and brighter colors in your work space. The best location for your desk is diagonally opposite the door with your back to a solid wall to support you. Facing a window as you work is a wonderful way to stimulate your mind as long as the view is pleasing and not distracting. However, if you sit with your back to a window, all your creativity and money-making ability will flow right out the window. Do not sit directly facing the door either as you will be bombarded by too much incoming energy rushing toward you causing stress and agitation. A desk that faces a wall is also considered bad Feng Shui because the wall blocks you and also leaves you vulnerable to people coming up behind you.
