And there is still room to expand the living space Charles!

That must be fun during a wind storm.  :)

We always say that children build these marvels however I have it on good authority that it is usually mom or dad who pounds the nails =]

Yes! A triplex! In birch no less. Brings back fond memories of the day my father and I dropped the work we were doing, went outside and built a tree house for my younger brother. It was really just a raised platform with railings. I was'nt planned. My brother just said someting about how it would be nice. And dad and I did it right ayay, on the spot, spontaneouly. It's long gone now, there are no photos, just good memories.

I'm with Tom, that must be real fun in a high wind.   Brings back memories of my tree house as a kid.

Charles, that's a whole lot fancier than any tree house of my youth!

Tom, I am not sure which hold which up---the tree or the house :)

Paul, yes---these are the sorts of things that enterprising parents can really get into

Robert, for sure---I built a lot of tree houses when I was a kid

Jim, it is what kids have to do I think

Don to the left there is a rope that goes way high in the tree that must have been interesting to get tied up there.

Pat, I am sure this thing attracted the whole neighborhood in its day---hopefully not any more

Wow, can I stay there when I visit?  How cool is that!  Is it wired for cable?  And I don't even need a pee bucket - looks like there is a back window available...

And I thought my two story tree house / fort growing up was great! Wow, I can only imagine the thousands of hours of run that house has seen.
