New England Patriots It's late in the game and the fans are in a frenzy as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are marching down the field with ease. It's 3rd down and three, ball in Giants territory and Tom Coughlin and the Giants call time out.

Brady sets up in the shotgun as Randy Moss spreads left with Wes Welker in the slot and Laurence Maroney in the backfield. Brady takes the snap and drops back in the pocket. Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora put pressure on the pocket and Brady slips to the outside to evade Umenyiora. Strahan cuts off the run as Brady scrambles, He looks deep down field for Moss then left to Stallworth, Welker slides across the middle and Brady pumps and fires a perfect spiral to the leaping Randy Moss as he one hands the pass and stumbles into the red zone as he's tripped up by a Giant's defender.

It's first and goal on the Giants one yard line. In comes Mike Vrabel and Junior Seau.

This is some of the action we will see and hear Sunday as the Patriots will be the home team in Super Bowl XLII. The New York Giants are coming off a ten game road winning streak, an NFL record, as they come into Glendale, Arizona as the visiting team. One of two streaks will come to an end Sunday night.

New York GiantsAll the talk leading up to Super Sunday has been Brady's high ankle sprain. Is he injured or is he not? Is this another one of Bill Beiichick's mind gameshe's playing with Tom Coughlin and the Giants?

The Patriots will be plotting and scheming against another Manning this day, as brother Eli takes center stage and brother Peyton will sit in the stands and squirm and grimace as brother Eli tests his skills against the undefeated 18-0 New England Patriots.

In their last meeting in week 17 the Giants came to play, with nothing to lose they put forth a game plan that catapulted them to the Super Bowl. Eli has been on fire as he looks more like an All Pro instead of the also ran QB that started off poorly in September and October.

The Giants will be ready and so will the Pats. Only one team can prevail and one team will go home with their heads hung low. I feel both teamsshould hold their heads high as they are the only two teams remaing to fight for the ultimate prize in the National Football League. They both deserve to be there in Arizona on Sunday.

Each team has plenty of weapons to thwart the other teams strengths. Each team also has their weaknesses that the other will try and exploit.

Tom BradyThe Pats wide receivers are tops in the league and their running game is coming around in the playoffs as Laurence Maroney has averaged 122 yards in each of the playoff games. He hasn't played much this year as the Pats have assaulted the opposing teams through the air.

This team has a lot of weapons and teams just never know where they will be coming from. The Giants are going to have to play flawless football on Sunday in order to bring home the ultimate prize.

The Giants boast a strong defense as Michael Stahan and Osi Umenyiora will put pressure on Brady for sure and Patriot fans will be watching every step Brady makes as he scrambles a few times out of the pocket. PLaxico BurressI believe will be the key to the Giants success on Sunday as he also is an extraordinary athlete and a deep threat much like Randy Moss is for the Patriots.

The Giants also feel they have a great running back in Brandon Jacobs. Some feel he'll plow through the Pats and chew up a lot of real estate. His statistics just don't prove that in my eyes. Other key players to watch for the Giants are Amani Toomer and Kevin Boss. Eli Manning is definitely going to have to play the game of his life in order to play toe to toe with Tom Brady and the undefeated New England Patriots.

New England Patriots 34

New York Giants 17

The Patriots team will end this season 19-0 and will be sitting in the kitchen with Mercury Morris and the '72 Miami Dolphins.

The comments already piling up, and there were none when I started reading. Well thought out post, Jay! Another nerve wracking day on the edge of our seats!  Mercury is going to have to have that little Perfection sign changed to "population 2"!!!! I wish I could say I didn't like the Giants. This is going to be a tough one!

Oh and I noticed your photo title! Absolutely!

Jay..that is a pretty good pick! I have been staying away from all the hoopla and sports boards as I just want to enjoy the game....I don't need to hear the opinions of the "experts" out there!

Jay - Again I must agree with your analysis of this game but I think the score will be a little closer than you predict. Pats 37, Giants 28? Great post.

Jay I have spot in front to the TV set for the game tomorrow.  History will be made and I do not want to miss it.

They scored 38 points in several of their games and I predict that they will score at least that much tomorrow.

Gary, why does it have to be about Real Estate? I'm in New England and my customers and clients love the Patriots. except for one that is a Dolphin fan.

Matthew, who's celebrating? LOL A little less that 12 hours hours to go.

Tony, I can't blame you. Now you know how I felt last year.

Dennis, I hope so.

Karen, It will be AWESOME, can't wait...

Lorraine or Lorretta, thanks for stopping by.

Linda, We are getting pumped up for today.

Chris, you seem to go to Arizona a lot. Iam sure it was a zoo there.

Rick, notice all the crap about past video taping?

Judy, relax as the Pats are playing in a controlled enviroment and on turf. Brady rarely loses in this type of a field.

Moni, are you ready for some football?

Steve, Great to see a Denver boy cheering for the Pats.

Bill, at least our Pats are rested. It's worth the wait.

Fran, who me, I'm a sports junkie.

George, I think you just might be right. Closed dome and on turf. Look for Moss and the receiving crew to have a field day.

Ann, I hope not, I don't think I could stomach it. LOL

GO PATS!!!

I hope not, too, but I just have a hunch it might be a little closer score.  I'd love to see it be a blow-out, but that doesn't necessarily make for a good game to watch.   The Patriots will win, no matter whether it's close or a blow-out, that much I predict!

Giants are playing some tough Defense.

Pats will adjust and they will receive the ball at the start of the second half.

Not the kind of first half I'd expect from an 18-0 team, but they're still finding a way to win. First possessions in the second half will be huge for both teams.

Yeah John, not what I expected to see either, but as you said, they are ahead.  Let's hope the second half is more along the lines of what we want to see.

It was a good game, just not the kind of 'good' we wanted to see up here in New England.  Such a bummer that final score is......  Giants did play very well, well enough to beat the Patriots, unfortunately.

Sigh...The only prediction I made was that the score would be by 3 points! I should have been more specific.

Great job the Giants did last night. You could tell they were planning on winning and that showed throughout the game. They call it resilience, I call it determination.

Oh well, back to reality:(

Hey all it was a great run but they will go down in history as an 18-1 team that didn't win the Super Bowl.

I know there is always next year but this Defense needs to get younger and quicker.

Defense needs to get younger and quicker. After the first drive of the game 9 plus min or so, the Pats D looked spent.

Jay - was fun reading this comment trail. Some 98 million people watched, and we of course have to have one person ask you what this had to do with real estate. Everything is the answer. There are people involved.

Despite your teams loss, we'd like to thank you for your recent comment on our photos from the top of lake tahoe. This, being a good sport, and that are most appreciated.

cheers

Jay and Monika... Jay had me convinced the Patriots were going to win.

Loved Jay's response about what this game has to do with real estate.    Or any game... or golfing, fishing, skiing, beaches or whatever is near and dear to the hearts of the people in the local area or those relocating to the area.

Hiya Jay, I had to come back and tell you I am reading a book (newer) written by Dan Rooney and it's quite good. He talks about how 'back in the day' he and a few others fought to keep the Pats in their rightful home.  And now they are still there and we can still fight about who is better LOL.  :-)
