Gloria and Doug, this is a very weather beaten landmark. So many of these lighthouses could really use some TLC but I gue$$ it takes community $upport. I like this perspective.

Hi Gloria,
I think this light house is fantastic and weathered but weathered is good. I used to have a room full of lighthouses; quilt, pillows, pictures, statues, etc. I was just nutty over lighthouses and I still like them but not in the house anymore. If I ever buy a beach house, I think I will decorate one of the spare bedrooms in this theme.

Patricia, we really enjoyed being there in the off season. Pretty much had the place to ourselves and saw many wonderful birds! Yes crabs are great also!!
Kristin, I know a few people who have collections of lighthouses and I can understand why. They are fasinating structures. There are even opportunities to live in lighthouses as caretakers.
Roy, yes a lot of history!
