GIVE ME SUNSHINE (or else)!!!

Hello friends,

Is anyone else out there craving the sun!???   I love few things in life more than to tilt my face to the sky with my eyes closed and have that elemental red warmth of the summer sun glow on my skin.  (Why the heck am I in love with Eastern Washington anyway?)  Now, being freckled and fair, I do have to slather on buckets of sunscreen, but I love warmth and brightness.  Showing houses is much better in the Summer too.  Right now we are in a record setting winter complete with drifts of snow that make me feel like an Arctic explorer simply getting the mail.  Business is great though and my clients are happy that I'm selling there homes!  (Maybe it's the free hat and gloves sets being given at open houses)  I suppose to be fair though, I do enjoy wood fires, hot cocoa and sledding (kind of hard to have those in Hawaii).  Anyway, I wish you all a wonderful evening from the beautifully iced wonderland of Spokane, WA.  I think I'm going to curl up in from of my space heater and pretend I'm in Mexico  :)  LOL

Blessings,

Sarah Reinhart

Sarah, us over here on the left side of the state always go to your area to see the sun---what's up?

The sun came out today in SC and the wind blew in some warmer weather.  I hope it lasts for a bit.  Get out of the cold, take a trip!

It's funny how some of us want what we can't have.  My daughter wishes that she could play in your snow drifts.  Happy shoveling!

Hey Sarah, warm islands are part of my fantasy life between November till May. Good news for Saturday NJ is going to be unseasonable warm: in the fifties.        STAY WARM.

Sarah - Your area is beautiful.  Plain and simple.  But I think each of us has a desire for something different when we have had long runs of gray days, cold temps and bouts of general 'don't give a hoot' symptoms.  Spring is not far off.  Just stay busy and soon you will be putting on sunglasses to spare your eyes from the glare of a warm summer sun.

Thanks for the tips!  I do love it here and Spokane is the only place I want to live.  Sledding is wonderful and so are snow ball fights.  I think I just need to save up for an Italian Villa   :)  Second home, of course!

On of the benefits of moving to Seattle for me was being able to finally really enjoy a sunny day...it's hard to truly enjoy the sunshine when is't everyday (or at least it feels like it!) and HOT... I called it "Relentless Sunshine"

I saw the title of your blog and thought that I could relate. Then I realized that we are in the same snow world! I am ready for spring and warmth again but I do love to see all of the white on everything. I actually got out of the house today for the first time since last Saturday and the roads aren't as bad as the news has been saying! I even drove part way up the South Hill with no problem!

Enjoy the snow with your kids. I know it doesn't seem like it, but it will be gone before we know it. I need to get out this weekend and build a snowman with my kids...

Sarah, I love the sunshine.  Makes a different in person's mindset.  BUT I do not like the heat of summer when it is near 100 degrees.  Spring is my favorite time.

I give you all a lot of credit who live in the cold. I like it here in Florida.  Wish I could email you the sunshine!
