Larry and Sheila what a great way to break down homes, My most common sale is 2 car but for upscale homes they are all almost 3 car. Have a great Saturday
Hi Larry/Sheila - love the picture and the collection of cars - I need to do a similar post as I know many buyers are looking for 3-4 car garages - great post! Regards Dave
I love it. For most of my adult life I've lived in homes with at least 3 garages and in a few 4. We now have a small 2 and thats the #1 reason the house is going on the market.
Larry/Sheila: Buyers love having space and homes with 3+ car garages in Suffolk County LI are sure to be a hit with those looking in this market.
I can understand having many garages if you are a collector or if you have older children. Three is pretty common down here.
Larry and Sheila,
Garages in our area are important...we looked at a house with one garage, and were trying to figure out how to add another one to the property which is sizable. From a resale point of view it is not as desirable. A
Sheila and Larry, there are lots of vintage car collectors and hobbyists collecting and restoring old cars who can save money and travel time by keeping their cars at home rather than paying for secured and insured storage space. And they get to admire and pamper their collection, or drive the cars, whenever they want to. If you love your vintage cars as much as you love your wife, you'll pay a premium to keep them clean and safe.
Thank you for your comments on 3+ Garages on The North Shore of Long Island. Whether it's for cars, storage, workspace or other, 3+ garages are very popular. Tomorrow we have clients that want to look at houses with 5 car garages. They have lots of classic cars!
My guess: if they have lots of classic cars, they also have lots of $$$. Good luck.
I could see that a a buyer looking for a home for sale in Suffolk County with at least a 3 car garage is only to have a limited number of matches.
