In an attempt to bring back a wonder-ful old Big Rapids tradition, the Ferris State University Student Government is joining mittens with the Festival of the Arts and holding a snow sculpture competition!

Creations may be built on the North Quad of the Ferris campus or at Hemlock Park. The building may begin on February 21 and judging will take place on Sunday, February 24.

Lynn, this snow sculpture event sounds like tremendous fun and if you go and visit it there at Ferris State I hope you show us some of the creative pictures from it. What a wonderful upcoming thing to attend. Here the few times in the south when we get snow you better build the snowman right away cause it will melt away the next day...
