Hi Roger - you know sometimes "stuff" happens and other times "nothing" does. Cue the Seinfeld theme music and wait for Elaine to take both of her hands, push you back and shout "Get outta here!" Yada Yada Yada....fade to black.
Roger, It always throws me off when I don't get to post in the morning, and today was a day like yours. A few things to do, then off to show houses, and then back to the office to catch up. Best for today was refreshing a local event post and moving along to other things :)
I haven't written a post all week and it has bothered me but I've been too busy to do anything about it. Perhaps now is the time to get on that!
Your day sounds like mine. I had to cover the office this morning, so I was out the door bright and early. I got there before 8am. So I didn't have much time to do anything this morning. After all Saturday is my morning to sleep in.
Glad to hear you got lost because I almost had a stroke this morning, I thought I missed the star of my movie contest and was relieved to know I only lost 300 points. I don't know where my brain goes.
There's nothing to say about this Kathleen. Usually my "nothing" posts say "something", but I honestly had "nothing" today, and it's still that way.
Elaine hasn't shown up yet Michael, and it's working for me. I may just go to bed at a ridiculously early hour tonight.
Today was the kind of day that I honestly would like to cancel due to "lack of interest" BLiz................if someone told me my house was on fire I'd have to ask them if I really had to leave...................
Bryan, obviously you've had bigger fish to fry.............don't worry about it sir, it's all good.
Normally, no day of the week is my "sleep in" day Debbie, but when I get a late start like I did today, it messes up everything and I can't get my rhythm at all.
Lizzie, it's a contest, not the end of the world. Relax honey! If I could give you 300 points I would. My brain has been on vacation for longer than I care to think. Now write me an Oscar winning entry.
Getting up at 9a.m., What a Hobo. I can't beleive you let that slip out.
You know I'm an open book Rob. I had a rough night on Friday. Went to bed around 10 exhausted, and was still wide awake at 2. Finally fell asleep and was up at 4, so I got out of bed a read for a while. At 5:30, I went back to bed and didn't wake up until 9.............wish I could say I was a slouch and it was on purpose.
Roger, I know you are having some interesting reading for the contest. I have enjoyed reading the ones I have been able to catch.
Roger~ I got up just in time to pick up our oldest granddaughter (we were "scheduled" to pick her up at 9am). Then we spent the day together! Didn't get to my computer until 10pm, so now I'm trying to catch up on comments. No post for me tonight, hopefully tomorrow. I need to keep my points up. I'm trying to get to #1 in Douglas County!
I missed the "early bird" movie entry, but the sad truth is, I've got nothing!
I read a post about nothing and thought about how to comment Roger. I would be hard to focus a comment in this sort of situation. I'm not going to comment here today my friend.

I have plenty but it is just been an extremely long day for blog tonight. I just got back from Family Reunion and immediately followed by an AR hookup with Bob Stewart, and about 10 others in Dallas. Very long and cool day. Much to write about tomorrow.

BARFF- i can't keep up with you. I'm going backwards reading your posts... no, I'm not really going backwards, but I'm reading your posts that way. So, what did you do.... just come back and glue yourself in front of your computer???
Roger, another outstanding and thoughtful blog. You are the best. Perhaps not as thought provoking and interesting as the one you did this morning on that guy from Park City, but great nonetheless.
