KW Family Reunion 2013 Day 1
Here is my Day 1 update from Keller Williams Family Reunion. Started out eating breakfast hotel and then headed over to wait in line for the entrance for the doors to open. After the doors opened I ran around saying hi to vendor friends who I respect a lot and chat with online all frequently.
I headed over to say hi to the DotLoop peeps and got to meet the Steve Peele. He has been a great friend and I had a pair of head phones for him. Check out this pic of him rockin 4 ipads, that’s talent.
I went to DotLoop’s presentation where Chris Smith kicked off the presentation with his takes and insights about the industry. Austin Allison then shared his vision for the product and let everyone know about the upcoming updates. I must say I am very excited about this release. From my point of view they are basically starting from scratch in order to make the product easier and more functional for both the Agent and Consumer. After that I had a chance to visit a few more vendors and then headed to Gary Keller’s One Thing Presentation with Jay Papasan. I found the content very timely for me personally as I try to grow my business. It reconfirmed and gave me ideas on how to better set up my business and life for success.
I came away with one question that can help lead me in my daily life.
“What’s the ONE thing you can do such by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?”
After the session was over I headed back over to the convention area and visited the Market Leader booth and had some great conversations with them in an effort to improve the product.
We then headed out to Raveena Italian Restaurant for a nice dinner. After that we headed over to the Hyatt and I made a great connection (that may actually lead to business) with the folks from Wingspan Portfolio Advisors. Then I headed back to our hotel and made a quick tour of the Bar scene and headed up to bed. Looking forward to Sunday’s State of the Company Presentation.
