I consider myself very fortunate to quite by accident have heard Dr. Ben Carson on the radio the other day and I was so impressed and moved by what he had to say that I actually became very emotional and started to cry. My tears were not tears of sadness but tears of joy because this man spoke kind and gentle words that touched my heart. Words that I have wanted to speak and have been afraid to have leave my mouth for fear that I would be chastised or criticized.
Ever since the election of which 47% of those eligible to vote voted, I no longer watch the news but I do worry about the direction our country is headed not so much for me but for my children and my grandchildren. I mean I am 73 years young and I figure it will take them a few years to fully destroy this country that I love so much. However I worry about my grandchildren who already owe the government $47,000.00. What will they owe them in 20 years from now?
How many people know what a trillion dollars is? Dr. Carson said this: If you were to speak one number per second it would take you over 507 million years to reach our current dept number. This is outrageous and very frightening.
He speaks of us following not the path of Greece but the path of Rome. He reminded everyone that Ancient Rome was destroyed from within from Moral Decal and Fiscal Irresponsibility.
He speaks of Political Correctness being evil and dangerous because it puts a muzzle on people and steals their right to freedom of speech, but at the same time makes it so easy to indoctrinate our children to the idea of Big Government
He speaks of the fact that Athletes in school receive the big rewards and the big trophies but the Intelligent Kids are treated as Nerds.
He started the Carson College Fund 16 years ago when he learned that our 8th grade students ranked 21 out of 22 in science and math in the world.
He spoke of how 200 years ago it was against the law to educate slaves and teach them how to read because to do that was to liberate them, to free them.
He spoke about how our system of government was designed for a well informed and educated populous and when people become less informed they become vulnerable and easy to manipulate.
He spoke about how his mother when he was in the fifth grade and not doing well in school made him and his brother read two books a week and write weekly book reports.
He spoke about our taxation system and asked why we can not follow God's advice and have everyone pay one fee.
He spoke about our Health Care system and reminded us that only 23% of Doctors are part of the AMA that supported the Obama Health Care Program and presented a health care program that would allow people to take personal responsibility for their health.
He spoke about Special Interest Groups being the Fourth Branch of the Government. He spoke about the harm the environmentalists are doing to our country by stopping us from being energy independent.
He spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in front of President Obama and Vice President Biden and when he was criticized for not being respectful to them he reminded those that criticized him that those in the Government work for us not the other way around. He reminded everyone that our form of government is not a monarchy.
Needless to say I was and am very impressed with Dr. Carson a Pediatric Neurosurgeon with more degrees than I could ever recall, four books and one movie about his life. Look into this man... Hear what he has to say... He may be the person that can put this country back on track and no one that likes him can be accused of being a racist for not liking Obama because he is a "Black Man".
