This was my first site of Cabo and I thought of the Land's End catalog.

Getting off the tinders, I spotted this Pelican while walking onto the pier. Amazing as they are not afraid of people.

I went kayaking and had a great time. My other friends did not want to go so I rode with the tour guide owner and he knew how to steer; wonderful.

Hi Eric,

Yes, it was my first cruise to that area as I usually go to Alaska but have decided I need to see other parts of the world. Now I am hooked on cruising and planing another one next October. I certainly do not imagine what I would do if I was on a ship with problems like the Carnival last week. I always get a balcony so this incident confirms why. It would be so much more difficult with an inside room. Plus I plan to hoard some fruit, nuts and granola the next time too.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for stopping by and I did have a wonderful cruise. I am looking forward to my next one. I have worked hard for so many years that it is time I spend some quality time on vacation with my family and friends. So I plan and take 2 weeks off cruising the unknown.

Hi Than,

Yes others were going all over the place but our kayak was straight as an arrow. It was a lot of fun and I may try the boards where you stand up and paddle but must learn in very calm water before I try the open seas.

Hi Gloria,

The pelicans are so brave like pigeons and just stand there looking at us. Here in California, the pelicans keep their distance so Mexico was such a nice treat. Everyone was taking landscape photos and about half of mine were bird pictures.
