After hearing for years that people claim miraculous results in selling homes due to burying a statue of St. Joseph in the yard.  We went and got one last year.

We read the instructions that came with th little statue and buried it last year when we put the house on the market.  To prevent damage to the statue, Ralph put it in a plastic bag.

This year Ralph decided to dig it up and relocate it.  We will want to take it with us when we move.

There is a slight glitch in the program.  Ralph has now dug up a six by six plot in searching for the statue.  He now has determined that St. Joseph has left...  No sign of the Saint!

Further excavation will be needed.  When we locate the treasure you can bet both of us will be involved in the new burying spot...  It feels really weird when it appears that a Patron Saint has left the area....

Maybe the Patron Saint doesn't want you guys to leave the place yet. God really moves in mysterious ways like this.

UPDATE ON ST JOSEPH!! Great news!! After two more attempts we have finally found St Joseph!! We lovingly brought him in and gave home a bath and he is as good as new! Perhaps we'll give him a couple of days off and put him back to work getting the house sold.
