Day 3 of Keller Williams Family Reunion
Started off at the preview of the KW Mega Tech Camp, I was interested to learn about the new KW mobile app that each agent will have available to them. Then I heard Cary Sylvester chat about social crm followed by a panel with Jessica Starr & Wendy Papasan.
Then I headed to Gary Keller’s Vision Speech where he gave his view on where the real estate industry is heading. There were several points to take away from the presentation.
1. Housing is undervalued at this time based on historical trends.
2. Affordability is at an all time low.
3. National inventory is in a seller’s market.
4. We are seeing year over year price appreciation.
5. Now maybe the best time in a generation to purchase.
After that class I headed to a commercial real estate forecast. I thought it was interesting that the commercial forecast was optimistic and mirroring the residential forecast. Both forecasts highlighted the point that unemployment is still high but as that comes down things will continue to head in a positive direction.
I then headed to a buyer’s presentation class to learn better how to bring potential buyers into the office and sit down with them prior to showing them houses. It was a great class and I will be working on adding this to my business.
I stopped by Casino night prior to heading out with dinner with my colleagues and then ended up at Club KW at the Omni Hotel. Hope you enjoyed this update and have a great day
