We have quite a few fair to good Sushi restaurants here on the Space Coast and Haru Sushi Bar & Grill in West Melbourne is one of the best.
Haru has two locations...one in Indialantic on the west side of A1A across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. The second location is in West Melbourne on the corner of Rt 192 and Wickham Rd.
While I think both are just fine I like the cozy feel of the West Melbourne location (hint...it is about halfway between two large movie theaters so it is a great dinner and a movie date night location). The West Melbourne location seems to have a chef who believes in less rice and more good stuff inside (just the way I like it).Haru also caries sashimi as well as quite a few nice steak and seafood entrees.
Haru is open for lunch at both locations and the bento boxes are quite good and well priced.
The specialty rolls are all wonderful (if you like sushi I will not need to make any recommendations). Start with a seaweed salad...it is just so good here.
They have a very nice wine list for a Sushi restaurant and the full bar is a great compliment for date night. They also carry a large selection of cold sakes.

Jeff, great information to know, as so many ask where to get GOOD sushi. That would make a good dinner/movie date.
Hi Jeffrey -- once again you present an excellent restaurant review for residents and visitors along the Space Coast of Florida. I'd say Haru Sushi Bar and Grill in Melbourne is a great choice!
COLD Sake????
Jeffrey, there are a lot of great restaurants in the Melbourne area. The Haru Sushi Bar & Grill sounds like another great one.
That sounds like a great place! I love sushi!
When I am there I will stop in. Jim
This is worthy of a red eye....Sushi...is a food that is fun, good for you and even promotes the closing of transactions better than any other food
Richie...lol...I think the full bar can promote the calming of nerves and lead to the closing of transactions as well...haha
Jeffrey - My husband and oldest son would LOVE Haru Sushi Bar Grill in West melbourne.
