2013 Winter Wool Festival Albuquerque
It’s time to join in the fun at the 2013 Winter Heritage Farm Festival. You will watch craftsmen while they work, learning about natural dyes made from plants and see how they are used to turn sheep wool into sweaters, blankets and other common needs. There will be hands on demonstrations of spinning, dying, quilting, rug hooking and much more. You will meet and learn about Navajo Churro Rams and Ewes that live at Heritage Farm and learn how this amazing breed is being preserved. It will be a fun and educational day at the 2013 Winter Wool Festival in Albuquerque.
