When it comes to life in Southern Ca, A Noise Within theater company places a high priority on education. A Noise Within is dedicated to informing and inspiring the public about classical theater and playwrights. As such, it has a number of educational programs to supplement education available to students.

Life in Southern Ca with the classics
A Noise Within’s education programs are designed to increase access to live classical theater and to enhance the classroom learning experience for teachers and students. Each year, the organization serves students from approximately 130 schools across more than 20 school districts.
The Classics Live! is one way a Noise Within works with students and educators. The program offers tickets at a reduced cost, post-show discussions with the artists, optional in-class workshops and study guides that are compliant with California standards.
The study guides, available for each production at A Noise Within’s theater, offer comprehensive information for teachers and anyone else who might be interested in learning more about the play. To see examples of study guides, visit the Study Guide Archive.
The free, digital study guides are designed to help educators integrate the plays and classic texts into their curriculum, making the work accessible to students through classroom activities and analysis of themes, context and characters, while integrating music, visual arts and history components.
A Noise Within’s study guides are downloaded approximately 6,000 times a year by educators and theater fans.
The theater company's outreach efforts are to be commended for their influence on Life in Southern Ca and for enhancing arts education for our children.
