No flowers in bloom here but Albuquerque has some snow flakes. It would be awesome if we wake to what you guys got this week!
John, it would be beautiful. When we lived in NM, we'd go to the mountains and could find snow even in the summer.
No flowers for us, but we've got snow and we're due to get more snow over night.
It's crazy cold here too and yes, we have flowers. When it warms up I might go out and take some photos.
Good morning Mona,
We have lots of flowers popping up and being planted..we have had a very mild winter in Austin..my geraniums are still blooming!!
Mina, crazy wether year! Two days ago 40 degrees in the morning and today 70 heading to 84. Gotta love Southwest Florida!
The Crocuses love to push through the snow and bloom. We just missed being covered in ice with the storm last night. Just 1 or 2 degrees cooler and it would have been ugly.
It is amazing. We got about 6 inches overnight. I don't think I'll be seeing any fresh blooms here for a while. If I do, I'm sure Rocky will welcome them into the world as he bites their heads off. Bad boy!!!
I am seeing some beautiful flowers here in Vero Beach FL..the temp is 75 degrees, but back home in Lewisburg WV it is 23 degrees ... c o l d :)
Good morning Mona!
Love your picture - spring is in the air! It's so wonderful to venture outside and see the signs of mother nature changing.
Thanks for your message - that was a nice surprise! I am looking forward to reading more of your blogs. I just went on the website for Isis Cove - looks like a wonderful place. Wow, I wish we had something like this here - the blessed lands look like a haven - I would love to see a blog with more details of exactly what Isis Cove is/means for your community!
We have a little metaphysical store here (just about a block away from my house) called Isis and it's a real treat. They sell stones, books, special scent blends, beautiful Buddha statues, and the list goes on. They also have a number of classes that share some pretty interesting topics!
Have a great day!
Good evening Mona. Yep, it is amazing. I guess the crocus didn't get the memo. Mine too. Fun picture. Enjoy the evening.
Donna, you must be in a different part of Denver than Will and Belinda. Enjoy your snow, spring will be here soon enough.
Tammy, we have pouring rain and the temp is 37...warmest we've been at night in months.
Dorie, that would be pleasant to have flowers in winter.
Wayne, my mom's been telling me that for the last several days it has been sort of chilly in FL but yes, SW FL is a very neat place to be.
Than, sometimes that's exactly what it boils down to...a degree or so.
Belinda, I'll bet Rocky is having an awesome time in the snow. Our lab boys, Hogan and Riddick, can't wait to wallow in the snow.
Rebecca, I think I'd hang out for a while longer in Vero Beach!
Hi Erin, I'd hoped to post a blog tonight about the Isis Cove Retreat but frankly...I just ran out of steam. After I get through with some commenting though, I will post another photo from there.
Sheila? Are you saying these are crocuses? crocusi? I didn't even know that. Thanks.
William, I'll bet they were pretty when they were peeking out through the snow.
Hi Mona,
Those are beautiful tulips and they probably will last longer in the chilly weather as long as you don't get anymore snow. Glad all the lovely plants and flowers are popping up. My fruit trees are blooming early and that surprised me but I guess it is due to the earlier spring. Isn't Mother Nature wonderful as she knows these things?
Mona, Things are snow covered and lots of frost in the ground, but the countdown to Spring is on (less than a month to go)! Love the picture and the glimer of hope that it sends!
Kristin, depending on the elevation there are all manners of things trying to burst up from the ground.
Berni, hard to believe that a month ago it was still dark at 5:30!
