World Fishing and Outdoor Expo- At RCC Rockland County, Suffern, NY February 28 - March 3,2013

For those of you that are Outdoor Sportsmen and enjoy fishing and hunting you might want to plan on attending this years  World Fishing & Outdoor Expo which is scheduled to take place at Rockland Community College's Fieldhouse in Suffern, NY beginning Thursday afternoon, February 28, 2013 at 2:00 and running thru Sunday March 3, at 5:00PM.

It's the only Sport show in the Metro New York area with all major fishing tackle manufacturers exhibiting. There will be seminars, a flye fishing theatre and educational and entertaining programs on all things related to fishing. You can check out all the many features here for the Suffern Fishing show.

Sunday is Family Day at the event where children under 11 are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.  Besides the free admission there will be some great kids and family activities - a scavenger hunt a fossil hunt, simulated reel fishing, just to name a few.

Whether you're a serious sportsman or just looking for a good family fun outing, there will be something for everyone at this fishing expo.

Rockland Community College is located at 145 College Road, Suffern NY. The hours for the show are:

Admission to World Fishing & Outdoor Expo is:

Adult $13.00

Child (5-11) $3.00

Under 5 Free

Leah -- You have the best expos in Suffern. Great venue for preparing for fishing season coming up.  I could use some instruction and guidance in fly fishing.  Wish I could go.  I love to fish when I have time to do so. It's so relaxing.....

Joy - Great for most outdoor sports, and not just fishing.  These expos are very popular.

Barbara- I've actually never tried fishing.  I imagine its super relaxing and yes, the expos at RCC are great and always well attended.
