Where Do Real Estate Awards Go to Die?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

top agent lyon real estateYou never really know how the year-end celebration and awards presentations will go at Lyon Real Estate because they don't release the numbers for 2012 until our big get-together at the end of February in 2013. But yesterday, I retained my #1 Top Agent status at the Lyon Real Estate Downtown Office, and I won an award for ranking as the #2 agent in all of Lyon Real Estate. Last year for 2011 I was #5 in the entire company and being #2 for 2012 doesn't feel any different, in case you're wondering.

To put this into perspective, Lyon Real Estate is a big company with 17 offices and more than 900 agents. The company numbers show that we sell more real estate than any other brokerage in Sacramento.

But I also picked up a couple of #1 awards that I had no idea I had earned. One was for helping buyers and sellers in other states find a real estate agent, and the other was for those agents closing the most transactions through Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, of which Lyon Real Estate is a member.

When I get my years in like you have I wish I could do half of what you do in a year.  After one or two of those I could retire when I hit 85.  Congrats.  :~)

Thank you, Chris Ann and James. I probably have at least another 10 years before retirement.

Hey Margaret: I really don't care if I'm never #1, if you want to know the truth. I'm happy to be #1 in the downtown Lyon real estate office and there are certain months I do rank as #1 for that month in the whole company, but once you get to be #1, I don't think it much matters if you slip to #2 or #200. But I could be wrong about other people.
