Speechless Sunday (almost!): Steve the Snowman visits Veyo!

After a cold front blew through the area, leaving behind frigid temperatures and 7 inches of snow, we received a visit from a most unexpected guest, Steve the Snowman! He usually resides in northern Utah where snow and freezing weather are a norm this time of year.

He moved ever so swiftly, almost a blur and I was oh so lucky to catch a glimpse, much less a photograph. Call me lucky to be at the right place at the right time! I hope he made it home safely, last I heard the Utah Highway Patrol was looking for him...hmmm...wonder WHAT HE DID?

Joni, It was indeed beautiful and I was glad to see it gone in less than 8 hours! We are getting ready to plant the garden...with no more cold fronts...crossing my fingers.

Paula, It does happen here several times a year and is hard to believe that we are only 20 miles north od St. George where it very rarely snows!

Joan, He is quite friendly and will wave as he passes through. Stay warm and safe!

Kathy, It was a beautiful storm, no wind, just huge flakes falling down for several hours and several inches!
