I had the pleasure of visiting ICEFEST IN Yorkville today. This is an event that everyone should get out to see.
The ice sculptures were amazing. The one criticism I would have-people should not be allowed to go up and touch the sculptures. They should be roped off and perhaps be on pedestals where psooible so everyone has the opportunity to see them without people standing in front. They were also causing the sculptures to melt because of the heat that people gave off when they touched them. Spectators viewing could not get to see them because everyone wanted to have a picture taken beside them. I had to be quick on the click to get a photo before someone else stepped in beside the ice.
