SEBTS presents "Faithful Men"

One of six musical ensemble options offered by SEBTS' Music Program, Faithful Men is an auditioned group whose members are taken from the ranks of Male Chorale. The group has been in existence since 1995 when it was formed by Dr. John L. Davis, Professor of Church Music. It is composed of seminary music and worship students, college music majors and non-music students who are enrolled in the seminary and/or Southeastern College.

Everyone is invited to come and experience the dining, art and retail merchants of downtown Wake Forest. Downtown businesses stay open until 9:00pm. You never know what treasure you may find!
Artist Reception featuring Bill Wallace

Bill Wallace will be our featured artist. His reception will be from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. during the February 8 Art After Hours. Bill is a brilliant wood carver/crafter who specializes in bowls and functional objects and hand-made furniture. Our live music will feature new age/folk musician Andrew Kasab. We will have wine, snacks and lot's of fun!

The Jews for Jesus music team, The Liberated Wailing Wall, is a group of traveling missionaries who will be presenting a program of music, drama, and testimony on Saturday, February 9th at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary of Wake Forest Baptist Church. This group was founded as an independent missionary organization in 1973 by Moishe Rosen. They developed Jewish gospel music over two decades ago with the desire to create music with harmony and rhythm that could blend their Jewishness with a message proclaiming Jesus as Messiah. The music reflects many styles of Jewish and Christian worship. They incorporate a variety of instruments to achieve their sound including piano, guitar, violin, and dunbek (Middle Eastern drum). All of the lyrics of the songs are taken from the Bible - the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament. The program has been described as a combination of Israeli folk music and Fiddler on the Roof! The group has traveled internationally and has recorded over 10 albums; most recently Behold Your God. This is a FREE concert, but a love offering will be received.
