The Detroit Free Press released some welcomed good news for the Metro Detroit Market. Higher prices have arrived for Canton, Plymouth, Livonia, Northville, Westland.... The Free Press reported that in 2012 Metro Detroit experienced the largest increase in home values since the 1990's.. a whopping 13.6% increase.
But every kernel of good news sometimes has some bad news. The Detroit market is still 37% below its December 2005 peak. So we have a ways to go.
