Happy Super Bowl Sunday by Bill Roberts

Today is a National Holiday. We celebrate this day by our own choosing. Nobody has to tell us what to do today or what to watch on TV.

I'll be watching the game. I don't particularly care which team wins. I don't have a dog in this fight. But the spectacle can't be ignored.

It was revealed today that Super Bowl Sunday is now the leader in calorie consumption by Americans of all the days of the year including Thanksgiving Day. I don't know about that, but I'm sure it's the biggest "junk food" consumption day.

PepsiCola will be honoring this day with a SILENT commercial. We don't care, we'll still eat Doritos and wash ‘em down with Pepsi. At least I will. You can drink whatever you have a taste for.

Watch and enjoy the game. Watch and enjoy the Half-time show (you never know what you might see). And watch and enjoy all the Super Expensive commercials.

I'll respond to comments, maybe blog, and visit your posts TOMORROW.

Happy Super Bowl! We're headed to a Super Bowl party at one of our client's homes shortly.

There was also a local mortgage broker who invited a lot of Realtors to a Super Bowl party and they were flying in $1000 worth of BBQ from Kansas City for the game! People go all out for sure today.

Well Bill, love your take on this special day.  I think it is ahead of Super Tuesday.  Enjoy the game, grab the Doritos but don't forget to get out there and walk them off.  I am looking forward to the game, knowing that my clients are occupied and I won't be receiving any calls.

Bill, after both teams gave it their all in a supposedly "meaningless" game at the end of the season, it is only fitting that they get a rematch in the most meaningful game of the season.  Like you, I plan to enjoy the game no matter who wins.

I hope the commercials are good this year.  I love Pepsi!  Too bad we don't have any in the house :(  Oh well, there is no way I'm going to the store this evening.

Bill, I've also heard that the day of the Super Bowl is the biggest day for alcohol consumption in the U.S.  I'm sure there will be plenty of hungover people in offices around the country today.

Dottie, thank you. I did enjoy the game.

Frank, I think it was one of the best Super Bowls in a long time.

Jennifer, Sorry.

Frank Again, Me too.

Charles, Yes it was!
