I love my neighborhood. We had no idea that when we moved to Castlewood in Highland Village, Texas that we would have such fun events to help us suburbanites have a little fun on Friday nights.
If it involves wine and friends, my husband and I are usually in. This Friday, March 1st at 7 pm is the always popular "Blind Wine Tasting" at the Castlewood Clubhouse. Each couple brings a bottle of wine to share that will be wrapped up to look like a bum on the street's favorite treat. Everyone will get a chance to taste and then vote for their favorite wine and the couple who brought the winning wine, gets a gift.
So, I can taste wine with friends and neighbors I haven't had the pleasure to get to know and walk home if necessary? I'm in!
