By
Real Estate Technology with Home Value Leads

Determining what your Dallas home is worth can be tricky. Learn why you should not trust the Zillow Zestimate for Dallas home values and learn how you can figure out what your Dallas home is worth in today's Dallas real estate market.

The websites mentioned in this video were 247HomeValues.com and FindDallasHomesForSale.com

My theme for the month of March is going to be Video Blogging. I want to do at least 2 video blogs a week, and I am looking for ways to improve both my on-air style as well as my content, so please be brutally honest in your comments below.

Brian:  I like the shirt.  Weird to start there but it's a combination of branding and casual.  I like the straightforward discussion regarding Zillow.  I also liked the soft sell around using your services to determine home values.  I appreciate you going for it from a video perspective.  I have found screenr.com to be an easy way to screen capture which is an efficient way to produce video.  Good luck.

Brian, I really like your video, it's straight forward with good information and from what I'm reading just about the right length. Two minutes or less being the goal according to a Social Media Examiner article.

Fernando: Video is where it's going. If you do a Google search for Real Estate Investment Dallas, you will see on page 1 a video that I did nearly 2 years ago. I get calls from that video regularly.

Kevin: Definitely like the changes.

Scott: That is what I'm going for - casual professional. Zillow is a thorn in the side of most real estate agents, but as long as you can have the conversation without getting defensive, you can defeat it pretty easily.

Nancy: That is exactly what I'm going for. Short, sweet, and to the point. I try to keep ALL of my videos under 2 minutes, 3 minutes max. The ADD society (not to mention the ADD agent recording the videos - namely, me) doesn't want to watch a 60 minute webinar to find out the answer to a simple question. I give the basics. If you want a more in depth explanation on home values or why Zillow shouldn't be trusted, give me a call and let's chat.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Brian,

What a great resource you are to your clients.  While Zillow is very popular, it's best to get a thorough evaluation from your local Realtor.   If your are thinking of selling or buying your home in Dallas, Texas; call Brian, he can help!

Best,
