Don't let Spring ambush you...

groundhog
(Groundhog found via google at www.students.haverford.edu)

It is here and gone.

Groundhog Day.

But don't let the sun catch you off guard in six weeks!

Winter will still be with us for a long, long time.

Perfect timing!

What better opportunity to take a look at

what usually happens in the Spring real estate market:

Sellers are going to re-list,

FSBOS are going to need help,

People are going to HAVE to move and buy and sell at both ends.

The banks are full of money-OK, it may not be as easy to get at,

but it is still there;

Relos also see an uptick in most markets,

and inventory is starting to GO DOWN

(...gasp!)

in some areas of the country already.

Don't get caught nappin' in the daffodils,

Stand up and get ready to stand out!

well, after the game tonight...

and get your outside blog on, too!

Love the photo, Steve! I figured the little guy was going to see his shadow. Oh well, it doesn't get too cold in Virginia anyway.....

Debbie!

The little guy is well equipped, but maybe he should have a shovel, instead.

And an umbrella.

We had rain on top of snow here in WIsconsin today.

Great.

Kathy,

Today, in Wisconsin, this little guy needs a down vest, not a ballistic one.

How is the inventory out your way?

Hey Steve,

You should send that photo to Bill Murray/Caddyshack (I know it's a groundhog, not a gopher!!)

Let's see if that guy knew what he was talking about!   Laurie

Laurie,

Any rodent who can walk upright with an automatic weapon should be called Mister. or Ms. !

Bill Murray said he woud get back to me soon on this when I called...

(joke)!

That's a really cute pic Steve, sort of reminds me of the LOL cats phenomenon. ;-)

Marti,

I totally get the joke...have not seen "cats" and kind of like that song "Midnight..."
