Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade 2013 - A Kid's Day
It was a another perfect sunny day as entrants for the Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade marched and strolled down Park Avenue through downtown Laguna Beach. We saw kids from the Boys and Girls Club, the Girl Scouts, the Boy Scouts, Little League baseball and the Kyne Dance Academy waving and dancing down the street. It was a great day to be a kid.
It was a great day to be a parent and grandparent as well. You can see by the pictures that my grandson, Paul, was worn out after a long day. Our float, a Home For Sale, (what do you expect from Realtors) came together with much sweat and creativity. I doubt if we will win any awards but we had a great time smiling and waving.
