Maine Restaurant WeekYes, it is that time again...Maine Restaurant Week!  Yummy!

The fifth annual Maine Restaurant Week runs from March 1st through March 10th (yes, we realize that is a little more than a week, but hey...there are so many restaurants to try!)

Maine restaurant week celebrates the creativity and innovation of our independent, locally owned and operated restaurants.  It was started in 2009 by the folks at gBritt PR in an effort to stir up winter business for their restaurant and hotel clients and has taken off and thrived ever since.

Participating restaurants are offering wonderful 3 course meals at incredible event prices.

Search for participating restaurants in your corner of Maine.

LOL!  But of course!  Is there such a thing as a bad lobster roll?

I know it is hard to imagine, but we here in Maine do have other foods we love beyond lobster.  :-)

Sounds like a good way to motivate people to go out and try something new. I hope the restaurants get a good turn out.

True, but for "foreigners" like us, we're going to wipe out as many lobsters as possible during our visits :)

They should Malcolm.  Mainers do like to eat out, and we are getting spoiled with so many new independent restaurants opening up.

LOL BLiz.  That's OK, go for it!  I love lobster too and it is actually an easy and affordable meal around here...especially since my father has his own lobster traps.  :-)

You'd love it Judi!

Lobster definitely never gets old Barbara!  :-)  I bet there are some awesome restaurants in your area.
