How is the Fort Wayne real estate market right now?

The Fort Wayne real estate market is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!

Inventory is low.

Listings are flying off the shelf.  

This morning we just sold our THIRD listing this year in 3 days or less.

Buyers are coming out of the woodwork.

Buyers are losing out on homes due to multiple offers.

Foreclosures are getting snatched up by both investors and home buyers looking for good deals.

Homes are selling on average for 96% of list price in January and February of 2013 in Fort Wayne.

Open houses are packed on Sundays.  

The phones...  they are a ringin.

I'm not writing this to brag or boast, as a LOT of agents in my area are seeing the same thing.  Let's just hope it keeps up!

Oh how real estate is so regional. We have plenty of homes in Clarksville TN and open houses on Sundays rarely have more than a couple of lookers. I am glad things are hopping for you.

The Fort Wayne, IN market sounds a lot like the Northern Virignia market.  The buyer demand is out of control.

Markets go up, and markets go down. And right now so many real estate markets are experiencing the same as you are in Ft. Wayne.
