How are Homes Selling in NW Austin in the Canyon Creek Subdivision?

Canyon Creek-a master planned community in NW AustinCanyon Creek is one of the most desired living areas in NW Austin. It’s a prestigious master planned community that boasts several parks, a junior Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, nature trails, top notch public schools, access to the lakes, extensive entertainment and dining options. Canyon Creek offers a full range of price points, with 2 gated communities offering condo/patio home living.

One of the gated communities is currently under construction by David Weekley Homes, offering 53 condos (single family detached homes) called “The Villas of Canyon Creek.” I’ve separated these out from the resale properties as their new construction prices skew the resale numbers and the days on market. Data isn’t always as it appears. Helping decipher real estate information is just one of the many reasons to employ my services.

In February 2013 the good news is homes in Canyon Creek are selling! There is a 150% increase in the number of homes closed compared to February 2012 with an 8% increase in sold price.

Yes Canyon Creek has good numbers..once David Weekly has completed the 53 homesites building will be done for Canyon Creek..there is no more land to build on...we are finished!

The Villas at Canyon Creek are almost sold out..they are smaller single detached condos within a gated community! Many empty nest buyers have moved there and sold their large homes.
