Good mornng, Kathy.... everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day.... even Armenians!!! I'll have to wrap my corned beef in "grape leaves".... not!!

It's going to be a green weekend this St. Patrick's Day in Delray Beach, FL! :-)
I am planning to color the snow in my front yard if any is on the ground. Since we are expecting snow today it shold not be hard. Meanwhile.. NYC has a parade as well as Newburgh. Busy time and fun for all.
Good Morning Kathy, St. Patrick's day is one day out of the year we all become Irish! Looks like Delray Beach is going all out for the special day.
With St Patricks day on a Sunday this year i will be able to enjoy the day. I sure wish i was in florida to enjoy it in the sunshine though. Winter wont let go up here in New England.
I can't believe it is almost St Paddys day! The first part of the year has been so busy, it is flying by!

Good thing no one ever drinks too much in Delray Beach (wink) or that could be way too much fun.
Kathy, I'm so proud of you for many reasons, but at this moment I'm proud of you for taking the appropriate action at the appropriate time with a timely timeless post about St. Patrick's Day.
If I may quote you from a year ago, "I usually wait until the day of or just before a holiday to write my post on it. But as Richard points out many people are already searching for information on a holiday or event days before". That comment was made on a Re-Blog by you of My Featured Post from last year about St. Patrick's Day, which I wrote on 3/7/12.
Timing is so important in all that we do, and when it comes to St. Patrick's Day 2013, YOUR timing was perfect. Thanks for the reminder. I have a post to write and time is running out. ;-)

Wayne- I know, and I’d bet Boston has a big one as well. I’m looking forward to ours.
Dorie- it has grown so much since I first moved to Florida and I love bagpipes so this is my favorite parade.
BarbaraT- I am so glad you added the “not”! Corned beef in grape leaves.... ! That would be like my eating corned beef and grits.

Beth- it is so much fun and we’ve been lucky (knock wood) that we’ve always had great weather for it.

Kristin- let me tell you... the older I get, the quicker the days fly by.
Michael- I thought you’d be off celebrating with your Best Actor win!!! They place 2 firetrucks at strategic corners and they raise their ladders to form and arch! It’s just amazing.

It's St. Patrick's day almost, already?!? Geez time flies. Delray Beach sounds as though they are preparing for a very fun celebration.
