Sunrise over Atlantic Ocean ~ This Is Why We Drove 1,000+ Miles

Over time I have posted many sunrise and sunset pictures, but for me nothing surpasses seeing the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean.

Since Dave is not a morning person he appreciates me capturing nature's beauty on camera.

There is nothing like a glorious sunrise to set the earth right again! I remember being in the Florida Keys a couple years ago. I'd look east to the Atlantic for wonderful sunrises, and west in the evening for delightful sunsets.

Carol, I agree. Water makes the sunrise/sunset all the more dramatic.

Myrl, thanks for tip about Key West. We have been talking about trip to the Keys in future. Being on the west coast you have opportunity to view gorgeous sunsets, too.

Jon, you & my husband would get along smartly as he is not a morning person either.

Thanks Jimmy, and I know His presence is much stronger over the ocean because He is protecting all the sailors.

Al & Peggy, I remember when you took similar long trip south and posted many wonderful photos. It must be time to escape to a warmer climate again.
