You really liked the photos I took in my post titled Pelican Bay Shenanigans so I thought I would share with you some video I took of my two feathered friends.

Sometimes it is hard to believe what people tell you..

You know.. like when they tell you a two foot bird chases them?

That's almost like the story about the fish that got away right?

Ah, but I have proof.. Not only does that nasty bugger of the Anahinga (AKA Snake Bird) chase the Great Blue Heron, he chases me!

Take a look...

Wow, Lysa!  Great video!  Those anahingas are just plain nasty.  And they certainly aren't shy either!  But the Great Blue Herons are so pretty to watch.  They operate in a stealth mode that the military should study.  Thanks for sharing!  This is great!

Carol, I don't know about all anahinga's but that one sure has a attitude! I would love to get video of the Heron on his glide in to me, it's beautiful. I love your comment about the military!

Lisa, Those phones were sure ringing today! Who says it's slow?

Diane, Sarah really surprised me with that post. Thanks for coming by, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope you do come by Daytona sometime, come when there are no events, or come for my St Jude event in April! I have a new video of the nasty bird with his catch of the day I need to work on and get up. I took it today. :)

Too Funny Lysa!  At first this bird looked like a Snake in the water.  Thanks for sharing with us.
