Housing Swaps - Are any of your clients asking about this?

I read an article today and it was the first I had heard of these new sites dedicated to housing swaps. Usually I am all for creative ideas that help people sell their homes faster but I'm not too sure about this one. It just seems like such a long shot that it's probably not even worth trying. Maybe put it on CL, but to pay for a listing on these sites seems like a waste.

I could be wrong (often am), what's your take on this 'trend'?

I have clients right now that are trying to swap with people downstate. There are quite a few free sites other than craigslist that are available to try. I have had great interest but have not found the right match.

Maybe this is actually a growing trend. If any empty nesters out there want to trade their huge house in the burbs for the convenience and excitement of city living, give me a shout :)
