Fifteen Years ago today, I walked into my bosses office and turned in my notice. Her response was, "Where are you going and how much are they paying you". My answer - I'm going to sell Real Estate and I have no guaranteed salary.
I was a single Mom with no "safety net", but believed that if I worked hard I would be rewarded. She thought I was totally out of my mind!
Well it was a fantastic choice. Where else do you get to be your own boss, develop your own business, and work with clients that YOU choose. Sure there are great days and well, not so great days, but overall it's a fantastic way to make a living.
Thanks to my son Andrew who didn't have all the "stuff" the other kids in his class had, my husband who married me even though I keep crazy hours, my broker who was always there to answer questions, and all my wonderful clients who have made it possible.
Looking forward to many more years to come.
