Delores Kearns Goodwin is a Pulitzer Prize winning historian and biographer. She is the author of five best selling biographies and her book, Team of Rivals:the Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln is the basis for Steven Spielberg's critically acclaimed film Lincoln.
She also wrote Wait Till Next Year which is a best selling memoir of growing up in Rockvile Centre. Doris who started her academic career in the Rockville Centre school system is being honored this year in the 2013 RVC Education Foundation.
The gala is belng held on April 20th, 2013 R 6:30 P.M. in the Madison Theater at Malloy College on Hempstead Avenue in Rockville Centre NY.
