I do not like to shovel snow and we only got 12" compared to the 36"+ that we got last month, but even I have to admit some snow storms are gorgeous. The storm we had this past Friday night into mid day yesterday, was one of those snow storms that you think you are looking at an artist's canvas. Yesterday's snow storm left the Trees Looking Like They Are Covered In Cotton.
The pictures below were taken early yesterday morning just as the sun was finishing coming up. I wanted to take pictures before the wind started to blow, and knocked the snow off the trees.
The drive into work, even though the roads were pretty bad, was like looking at scenes out of an artist's collection of paintings. I wanted to take out the camera, but better sense got me to keep both hands on the steering wheel.
I took more pictures than the three below, but these were my favorites because of the Trees Looking Like They Are Covered In Cotton.
