Trees Looking Like They Are Covered In Cotton

I do not like to shovel snow and we only got 12" compared to the 36"+ that we got last month, but even I have to admit some snow storms are gorgeous.  The storm we had this past Friday night into mid day yesterday, was one of those snow storms that you think you are looking at an artist's canvas.  Yesterday's snow storm left the Trees Looking Like They Are Covered In Cotton.

The pictures below were taken early yesterday morning just as the sun was finishing coming up.  I wanted to take pictures before the wind started to blow, and knocked the snow off the trees.

The drive into work, even though the roads were pretty bad, was like looking at scenes out of an artist's collection of paintings.  I wanted to take out the camera, but better sense got me to keep both hands on the steering wheel.

I took more pictures than the three below, but these were my favorites because of the Trees Looking Like They Are Covered In Cotton.

I thing all of us in the Northeast are looking forward to moving the close forward, if it gets us closer to spring and warmer weather.

Make it a great weekend!

Yes, it did look beautiful yesterday. I should have taken some pictures, too.  Nice shots.

Hopefully, it will melt quickly.

George, the Pics looks very scenic & beautiful. but I traded in my shovel & Ice scraper years ago for sun block. Glad you didn't take pictures on the road, a little dangerous

George, what beautiful photos!    I too love a good snowfall, and getting one today.    As long as we don't have to venture out!

Joe, I am ready for Spring right now :)

Debbie it is 50 degrees today, so that should melt a few inches of snow away

Frank spoke like a true Insurance Guy, keep your hands on the wheel ..... LOL

Ed, I wish I could have waited until mid-day to have done the shoveling, but I had a loan to turn in, so it was early shoveling and out the door.  The mid-day stuff was waiting for me when I got back home :)

Al and Peggy, there is something wrong with this.  You guys are supposed to get all this snow up there, and not us down here ... LOL

Pat and Steve yes it does add meaning to the saying

Joan, unfortunately for me I had to get to the office early to get a loan into process, otherwise I would not have left the house.  The roads were bad.
