Going strong in its third year, the Cayucos Sea Glass Festival kicks off today @ 10 a.m. at the Cayucos Vet's Hall.    The event is a great opportunity for sea glass enthusiasts to check out the crafts and sea glass treasures by sea glass craftspeople and sea glass jewelers and artists! Come discover why sea glass collecting is so popular on coasts all over the world.

The event is hosted by the Cayucos Chamber of Commerce. Entry fee is $3.00.

New features include a special guest, Richard LaMotte; a Sea Glass Discovery Center; and mermaid photo booth. In addition to food and drinks by local vendors, there is a silent auctions to win some great prizes, and ongoing live music and dancing both days, featuring Grammy-award winning Louie Ortega, the Bobby Santa Cruz Band, Tennessee Jimmy Harrell Trio,and Bruce Beck the Mystery Brothers.
