My family has owned the local "Ace Hardware" in Islamorada since 1946.  So I guess you could

say,  we have owned commercial property,  in the Florida Keys for quite some time.  My brother and Father

started what is now know as,  Forest Tek Lumber,  in Big Pine Key.  My brother, took it over, remodeled

and is ready to provide building supplies for the lower and upper keys!  Commerical Properties

are good.

Commerical Properties have excellent prices now too!  If Lance Winslow is reading this,  there

are several commercial properties,  that will knock your socks off. (Even though your blog says

you are not going to buy now.) Doesn't everyone agree that while prices are down,  now is the time

to purchase that investment, be it, commerical or residential?

Residentially speaking, Lance Winslow (one of my blogging idols) commented on the airstrip

property I have listed for sale.  On that same strip, I bought a house two years ago for $610,000.

and sold it a year and a half ago for 1,200,000.  Isn't that the way it is supposed to work?

Please take a minute to look at the Airstrip house, the owners are motivated, and as Lance

says picture yourselft flying into your private airstrip, just to slip away in your private yacht,

for a "private" sunset. Enjoy and buy now, while the prices are right!
