Shelton CT home sales for February 2013 showed a 19% INCREASE in sales from the same period last year. 

Additionally, average list and closing prices both INCREASED 2% and 5% respectively from February 2012 results.

Days on the market went up significantly at 57%, with a few significant outliers which brought the average up.

Market absorption for the month registered at 5.68 months, meaning it would take 5.68 months to sell off the present inventory. Shelton remains in a seller's market for February with inventory levels still low.

The sales range hot spot for this month went back into the popular $200-$300K barely squeaking by the lower $200K and below range.
