If you’re looking for a great way to say welcome back to Spring, look no further than the Wallingford Holiday Spring Fling, a fun craft fair that has a little something for everyone!
For the Kid In All of Us
If you’re of the younger set (or just feel young at heart!), there will be lots to do, like getting your face painted, have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, be amazed by the magic of Gary the Magic Guy, do some bouncing around with Bounce Bash, or check out Wolf Central to learn more about the wildlife around us, and visit with their mascot, Timber.
Shop Until You Drop
If shopping is your thing, be sure to visit Bling Box and peruse her beautiful but affordable jewelry, and then head to Pammytail and have her give your hair a touch of Spring with her hair accessories. There will also be paintings for sale, plus fabric art, wood crafts, scarf jewelry and offerings from The Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Partylite, Avon and more.
Come Hungry, Leave Full
Make sure you bring an appetite with you too, as there will be plenty of good things to eat, such as fresh corned beef sandwiches with homemade sauerkraut and horseradish sauce. Or, if something sweet is more to your liking, try a cupcake or some delicious Strawberry Shortcake from Fashion Over Frosting, or a pumpkin roll from The Pumpkin Roll Lady.
And before you leave, make sure to get a handy tote bag from In The Bag LLC and fill it with tasty treats like chocolate eggs, chocolate pretzels, and chocolate candy, or get a pre-filled basket so you’ll be ready for Easter, which comes early this year on March 31st. All in all, there will be over 40 tables set up with fun things to do, see, and buy, and many will offer raffles or give-aways! So mark your calendar for this Saturday and head to Zandri’s Stillwood Inn in Wallingford for a great time with the whole family!
