Where is this growth coming from?
It is coming from a variety of sources. Ft. Campbell KY is a big reason for the growth with active duty military and civilian support personnel. Also extended family tend to move close to their military family members because Clarksville is so conveniently located and offers good quality of life. Retirees find Clarksville to have an affordable cost of living and with its proximity to Ft Campbell, the military retirees have medical facilities close by. Interstate 24 makes travelling to many other large cities within a half days drive.
Because the population is growing, additional business services are needed. Plus schools in the area keep expanding giving new teachers opportunities that aren’t found in other areas. There is plenty of new construction going on providing jobs and housing for the growing populace.
