Samsung Galaxy S4...Will You Make the Switch?
I have to admit I love my Apple products! You would never be able to sway me from my MacBook Pro but my phone, well that’s a different story...
Today the Samsung Galaxy S4 was announced at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, quite the little production they had going on. I enjoyed watching the little skits they had, not your typical technology announcement but its not your typical technology release either!
The Galaxy S4 is packed jammed with new features that will make my life easier and more efficient. I spend a lot of time on my car so I like the SVoice features that they have added to use with the bluetooth in your car. I think this is going to help with people plundering for their phones as much...maybe they can keep their eyes on the road?!
Anyway there are some pretty cool new camera features as well that I can not wait to try out for myself!
The battery is HUGE! I can't imagine that it wouldn't last all day even with heavy use! They made the screen bigger without actually making the phone much bigger which I have to say is exciting to me.
I do love the compact size of the iPhone but lets face it when I am trying to review a contract change etc while mobile I could use a bit more real estate on the screen to complete the task!
If you missed the announcement and you would like to watch it just click on the link provided to see the Unpacking of the Samsung Galaxy S4. You will have to fast forward a bit there is a lot of “wait” music at the front.
Let me know what you think..and are you going to give the Samsung Galaxy S4 a try? I know I am!!
Melissa, I saw a tech comparison of the this with the iPhone and a couple of other phones. This new one has my attention and I'm about ready to retire my BB Storm II. My only question is if the screen may be TOO big.
Melissa ~ Don't think I can switch from my iPhone, but I am looking into a new computer ..
You love your MacBook Pro??
BLiz~I gave the Galaxy note a test spin not long ago and I thought it was pretty do able and the S4 will be a little smaller. Do like the convenient size of my iPhone.
Shawna~ You know I cant wait to get my hands on it!
Karen~ YES I LOVE my MacBook! There was a learning curve for the first week or so but now I would NEVER get anything else...The ease of use is amazing!
A few months ago I walked into Verizon with the intent of buying the Samsung Gallaxy S 3 and walked out with the Note II. Love it love it love it. Samsung products are so far superior to Apple. Android is now beating them.
Melissa ~> If you had a learning curve there is no way I would want to buy one. Yikes! I guess I will look into a different computer .. Geez, why are computers and technology so hard for some of us?? I'm a pretty fast learner, most of the time..
Not me! I love my iPhone and if I need a bigger screen to review a contract, that's what my iPad is for. Now I could be persuaded to get an iPad Mini! LOL!!
Melissa~When I got my first Android nearly two years ago, I walked into the store firmly convinced that I would get an iPhone to replace the Palm I had been hanging onto dearly because of the IR port. Holding the iPhone in one hand and the Samsung Infuse in the other hand made the decision pretty easy. The Samsung display won, hands DOWN! Now I hear that the S4 has an IR! If that IR works with Supra boxes, I'm convinced that it will be my next phone!
Melissa, they will have to pry my iPhone out of my cold, stiff hand when I die! I think that a lot of what I love about Apple products is their quality. I've never had an Apple product betray me, except for the time I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet. Even then, Apple was great about replacing it for a whole lot less than I thought it would cost.
